Steve received his BA from Stetson University’s School of Business and Finance in 2004 while representing the ‘Hatters’ as a division one soccer student-athlete. He was then awarded a graduate fellowship through the Florida House of Representatives where he worked in state government and completed his Master's degree in Public Administration from Florida State University. His prior professional experiences include working in public service as an athletic administrator, successful stints in community and public affairs, and work as an accomplished legislative and governmental consultant.
As someone who takes pride in serving his community, Steve has dedicated time to Habitat for Humanity, faith-based organizations, and Homeowner Association Boards. He also ensures to stay connected to our communities and small businesses through involvement in the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce chapter and was accepted to Leadership Winter Park Class 36 in 2025. Steve is an active member of the Orlando Regional Realtor® Association where he has earned 4 annual appointments to their Governmental Affairs Committee. Steve currently resides in the city of Maitland, Florida with his wife Dr. Marianne Janosco, a veterinarian associate at Markham Woods Animal Hospital in Longwood/Lake Mary FL. They are loving and proud parents of daughters, Adalynn, Aubree, and twins Brynn and son Joseph.
